Kimberley Business Network
The KBN is delivered by the Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in partnership with the East Kimberley Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EKCCI) and the Derby Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) through the Kimberley Chamber Collective (KCC).
KBN was established in response to growing major project activity across the Kimberley and the need to ensure local businesses were better positioned to participate in procurement opportunities. The initiative aims to increase local content, strengthen business capability, improve procurement readiness, enhance local workforce development and retain more project expenditure within the region. By connecting businesses with major project proponents, government agencies and contractors, KBN helps reduce economic leakage, build regional capacity and maximise the long term economic benefits of investment in the Kimberley.
KBN supports local businesses to improve their visibility, demonstrate their capability and better understand upcoming procurement and contracting opportunities. It also gives project partners and contractors a more efficient way to identify local suppliers and engage with the regional business community.
