- Broome Time Accommodation joins GAPH
- Now part of the world’s largest alliance of privately owned hotels.
Broome Time Accommodation has recently signed an agreement joining the Global Alliance of Private Hotels, (GAPH). Broome Time is now one of 1100 accommodation properties in 80 countries, part of the GAPH family.
The 58 room property recently added a breakfast restaurant and upgraded guest rooms and family rooms along with upgrading facilities and enhancement of the property.
Being part of GAPH means we all strive for the same goal: to offer our guests charming and unique accommodation and a genuine experience. GAPH’s common goal is to make their members visible in a larger market and to give the guests the opportunity to find and make reservations at small privately owned hotels and accommodation properties.
Almost 1100 hotels in over 80 countries have entered a unique global alliance, making the network one of the largest in the world for privately owned hotels.
Broome Time Accommodation General Manager said “All of the networks in the alliance retain and strengthen our own brands. We contribute our knowledge and experience, and will be able to utilise each other’s resources. We have already begun to work on several common activities. Among other things, the alliance has put together a joint back office, and it will be possible to search and reserve 700 hotels on all of the different networks’ websites.”
Mr Cooper said, “We are extremely proud and pleased to be part of the GAPH family”
“This unique collaboration initiative enables each of us to strengthen our position as the largest hotel alliance for privately owned hotels in the world”, My Cooper added.
Broome Time has been part of the DNA of Broome since it opened in 1984. It first opened as the staff accommodation of the Cable Beach resort, then becoming Ocean Lodge and welcoming guests in the early 90’s, then later changing its name to Broome Time Lodge. An Art Gallery was added a few years ago and more recently in 2014 updated the property name to Broome Time Accommodation and joining the Australia’s largest accommodation group, Golden Chain Accommodation in 2016.
