A different approach for handling Broome’s juvenile crime – Call to Action!

Broome Community Services Forum

Broome Civic Centre

Monday 23 July 2018 2pm to 4pm

As you know Juvenile crime rates continue to negatively impact on Broome. Responses by Police have not reduced that offending.

A Broome Forum is to be held encouraging attendance by anyone who delivers a service, believing it can positively contribute to a young person’s diversion from offending.

The business community is a critical part of the solution. The call to action, goes out to those non-Government Agencies that are already recognised for their efforts helpings kids and their families, but also to any person, business or entity who think they have something to offer. Again, the definition of someone who can help, is very broad. If you think you provide a service that can help, please consider attending or if you know someone you think can help please let them know. You are all being asked to think outside the box when considering your opportunity to participate.

The Broome business community has always been highly innovative. Here is another chance to prove that.
